QUESTIONS & ANSWERSAsk a Question
How do you replace the batteries
You open the door on the front of the sensor.
Need a replacement for the TX141V2 sensor for my w8611 clock. Which is the compatible model?
W8611 is not a valid part number. You probably have a model W86111. The proper sensor for the W86111 is the model TX141V3. You may order it from us by using the link provided.
Do you have any that is compatible
Compatible with what? We carry the TX141-BV3, and it can be found here: https://techinstrument.com/products/la-crosse-tx141-bv3-temperature-sensor
Is this compatible with a 915 MHZ OMO-Tx29U transmitter
No, it is not. The TX29U sensor was discontinued by La Crosse about 2 years ago. This means that you are looking at purchasing a new system if you wish to continue to see the outdoor weather inside, on your weather station.
Need a Temperature Outdoor Sensor to replace mine. After 4 years of perfect readings, it now gives very erratic readings. As an example yesterday the actual temperature outside was in the low 90's and it was reading 158 degrees. It has been kept on our east facing covered patio well protected from sun and weather elements Do you have a replacement sensor for this one TX141-BV-2. Thank You.
The replacement for the TX141-BV2 is the TX141-BV3, which can be found here, on our website: https://techinstrument.com/products/la-crosse-tx141-bv3-temperature-sensor
Need a temperature sensor to replace mine. Model number TX37U
We're sorry, but the TX37U has been discontinued and there are no more available. This means that in order to obtain outdoor temperatures you will need to purchase a new weather station.
No complaints. This product replaced my old sensor with no issues. Put the batteries in and linked to my thermometer in 30 seconds. Excellent customer support.
I have not used the new one as yet. I cleaned up the old one after a battery leak and so far, it is working fine. We shall see....

This is the 2nd. one we have gotten. New one has dimmer feature! Even better than the 1st!!
It's always nice to have an extra one on hand, especially if you live in a climate that is harsh at times. My last one lasted almost 3 years outside. It was under cover but still exposed to the atmosphere. Highly recommended!
Great service, quick delivery. Works perfectly. Very satisfied customer.
