Had a faulty part and replacing it was easy fast service.
The gauges are off on both the thermometers I bought by about 10 degrees, plus the needle will not go below 80 degrees no matter how cold it is outside. I placed them on the front face of my new smokehouse above the boors, the vapor bulbs are inside the smokehouse at the same level the meat would be at. I placed another thermometer that I know works next to the vapor bulb and tested. I them adjusted these thermometers to the same as the inside unit at 100 degrees. After the smokehouse cooled and the inside thermometer was at 65 degrees these units both stayed at 80 degrees. And when I heated the smokehouse up to 100 these units only read 90.
